NYSPANA Scholarships

The following scholarships are available for all NYSPANA members. Qualifications for the scholarships can be found on the website, NYSPANA.net.

Continuing Education Funding Plan: Point system for members to obtain education funding. Points are awarded according to the amount of participation on the district, state and national level. Activities can be accrued for 2 years. The most money you can get is $300.00. If we have more then one applicant, based on fund availability is how much money can be awarded. This application is due March 1. Email application to mprice03@rochester.rr.com.

Nurse of Excellence in Clinical Practice: This award is for the NYSPANA nurse who exemplifies perianesthesia nursing and is nominated by a peer. The application is on the web and due March 1. Email application to mprice03@rochester.rr.com.

Scholarship for the NYSPANA RN pursuing an advanced degree in nursing. This $500.00 award is due July 1. The application is on the web and is emailed to the secretary. Email the application to mprice03@rochester.rr.com

The NYSPANA Student Nurse scholarship is for a nursing student who will be a senior in the fall. This $500.00 scholarship . The application is on the web and is due July 1. Email application to mprice03@rochester.rr.com.

A $500 Research Scholarship is also available. Application and criteria is found on the web site. If awarded, the money is divided into 3 installments. The application deadline is June 1st and is emailed to the Research Chair. Email the application tokathep8@gmail.com.
